1. Connect to the Scanner

No matter you bought the Thinkcar 1 or Thinkcar 1S, the ways to connect to the Thinkcar APP are the same. The first step is to plug the scanner to OBD port of your vehicle. The positions of the OBD port might be different from different vehicles, please find the port according to the following picture.

After plugging the scanner in, the indicator light will turn red which means the scanner is connected and ready to connect the phone.

2. Connect the devices to the APP

If your phone hasn’t connected to the devices automatically, there will be a notice for you to remind you to connect Thinkcar when you open the APP.

Click the notice, and you will jump into the connection page. This page will search for device automatically as long as you keep the bluetooth on. Thinkcar scanner will be discoverable as SN Device with a 12-digits numbers.

Click on Thinkcar Bluetooth device and finish connection. (If there is only one Thinkcar device, it will be connected automatically in 5 seconds.)
